Disney Plans to Turn ‘Prince Charming’ Into a Live-Action Movie

Disney seems to be taking live-action movies seriously, as the company reportedly has plans to turn Cinderella’s very own Prince Charming into a live-action comedy film. What is Prince Charming’s story anyway? Read on to learn more about this scoop.

Rotoscopers reported that Disney has just added another classic character and movie to the growing list of live-action movies. Apart from “The Jungle Book,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Pinocchio,” “Alice in Wonderland” and “Tinkerbell,” the production company is planning to give Cinderella’s Prince Charming the chance to star in his very own movie.

Before any of you get excited to see Prince Charming finally take the center stage this time, the outlet noted that his brother (who “never lived up to his family name” and who has yet to be given a name) will be the one to take the lead in the “Prince Charming” live-action movie.

While details about the live-action “Prince Charming” movie are still unknown, the outlet listed several actors who have played the role in TV and in movies.

“Game of Thrones” actor Richard Madden once played the role of Prince Charming in the 2015 live-action movie adaptation of “Cinderella.” Josh Dallas has also previously played the part in the ABC series, “Once Upon A Time.”

Meanwhile, fans expressed their thoughts on the news of a live-action “Prince Charming” movie on the comments thread on the site’s page.

Several fans and readers cannot seem to believe that Disney is turning every animated movie into a live-action movie. Some made light of the context and advised the company to turn “Atlantis,” “Cars 2” and “Chicken Little” into a live-action movie.

On the other hand, some fans began quoting several actors who would best fit the role, including a reader named Adam Lenehan who suggested putting Nicolas Cage as the lead actor.
