‘Divergent Series: Allegiant’ Star Theo James Out, Ansel Elgort Wants LipLock Award With Shailene Woodley Again
Ansel Elgort actually asked Theo James previously if she could kiss Shailene Woodley in a production for “The Divergent Series: Allegiant – Part 1.” Did he kiss her? Read on for more details.
There was a day that Theo James was not feeling too well and the film shooting could not be stopped. During that time, a kissing scene was set to be recorded, and since James was not fine enough, Ansel Elgort reportedly asked him if it’s alright to take his place to kiss Shailene Woodley.
“I said, ‘Listen I’ve done it before,’ and guys that do the visual effects in this movie are good, so they could have easily changed our bodies and it would have been cool,” Elgort joked via a report by People Magazine.
All three stars have roles in “The Divergent Series: Allegiant Part 1.” Elgort starred as Caleb Prior, the brother of Beatrice “Tris” Prior (Shailene Woodley), while James took the role as Tobias “Four” Eaton, the love interest of Woodley’s character.
Ansel Elgort: One of the Fastest Rising Star
It could also be noted that Elgort previously took one the role as Woodley’s boyfriend in “The Fault in Our Stars,” where he won the Best Kiss category in the MTV Movie Awards. And he shared that it felt really weird changing his role as a love interest with Woodley in this film and then becoming a brother in another.
Elgort also revealed that he did not know how they managed to do it successfully, but, in some way, it went well.
“We’re happy that somehow it worked,” Elgort said in a press day for “Insurgent” in Los Angeles.
The 21-year-old actor, who would also star in “November Criminals” as Addison Schacht, was considered as one of the fastest rising star in the entertainment industry, particularly in Hollywood, MTV News reported.
And the reports are true. Ansel Elgort is the winner of Teen Choice Awards in Choice Movie Actor: Drama and Choice Liplock with Shailene Woodley, Best New Film Actor in NewNowNext Awards, and others.
