‘Doctor Who’ Update: Makers Release Synopsis & First Image of 2015 Christmas Special
As we all know that “Doctor Who” is near to it’s this season’s end as only two episodes are left to hit the screens titled “Heaven Sent” and “Hell Bent,” fans also are in the state of shock after the departure of Clara Oswald aka Jenna Coleman but it seems that BBC is in the mood of giving the audience a reason to celebrate by launching the synopsis and image for the 2015 Christmas special episode of the same TV series. Yes, an image and synopsis related to the upcoming special episode of “Doctor Who” have been released by the program presenter network. According to Screen Rant, it was revealed that the special episode will show the reunion of Doctor meaning Peter Capaldi with Kingston’s Professor River Song aka Alex Kingston but surprisingly River will fail to recognize the Doctor as this is the first time she is meeting him.
“Cuckoo” and “The Inbetweeners” fame Greg Davies has boarded the team to play King Hydroflax whereas Matt Lucas of “Little Britain” and “Alice in Wonderland” fame joined as Nardole. Both the British actors have boarded the “Doctor Who’”s journey for this special episode. It means that the doctor will be seen experiencing galactic super-villains with an undisclosed destination which the doctor has been avoiding since a very long time.
With these two characters boarding the show somehow pointed to the direction of its comedic approach but for this information we have to wait till Christmas and if we talk about the image then it shows Doctor and River Song together.
Well, we can imagine how the Doctor is feeling current as he lost his companion recently in the episode titled “Face The Raven” so, we can take his reunion with River as an opportunity to make him happy, after all it is Christmas. Though, the time of telecast of Christmas episode has not been revealed yet but it will be aired on Dec. 25, on BBC1 in the U.K. meaning on Christmas day itself.
