Docuseries of Bruce Jenner’s Transition Into Womanhood Under Development by E!
Bruce Jenner has been on the news lately for reportedly working on to becoming a woman. And now, latest reports say that not only is Jenner already on the process of doing it, work has already started in making a docuseries of his transition.
Variety reports that E! has already discussed and has been working on the said project with Jenner. And according to a source close to the docuseries’ production, the project is still very much in the early stages as it still does not yet have a title, a set premiere date and a set number of episodes.
Although, the source said that current work on the docuseries involved the head of publicity of E! calling for a meeting with the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) for a discussion on how to handle such a topic on TV.
As of the moment, representatives of E! and Jenner have not yet released any official statements regarding the matter, despite numerous inquiries.
Last Thursday, Jan. 26, 2015, Jenner was spotted filming, believed to be that of his docuseries, in the Pismo Beach in California with his stepdaughter Khloe Kardashian. Aside from discussing his transition over his new docuseries, Jenner reportedly also plans to discuss the said topic in the latest season of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”
According to People, Jenner is happy of being able to do the transition and being able to show it to others through his docuseries. He is also happy that his family accepts his decision and has given him their full support. The report also mentioned that due to Jenner gaining more confidence for himself, viewers may be expecting to see the said docuseries sometime later this year.
