Domhnall Gleeson Vows NEVER to Talk About ‘Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens’
“Star Wars” fans prepare to get your heart broken. Domhnall Gleeson says he would never talk about “Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens” ever again.
Domhnall says he’s intent to keep his mouth shut to “protect” the film’s secrets from surfacing online, according to Radio Times.
The actor says he signed several nondisclosure agreements prior to his appearance in the seventh installment of the “Star Wars” franchise.
“I don’t even talk about it. I’m not even afraid I’ll let anything slip any more. I’m just aware that it’s actually boring because I know the answer is I can’t talk about it,” explained Radio Times.
However, it’s not fear of breaching contract that’s holding Domhnall from spilling the beans. The 31-year-old says he has this “genuine love” for the “Star Wars” movie that helps him keep things hush-hush.
Domhnall, who was also known for playing Bill Weasley in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1,” shared that his brother had actually given him a few tips on how he could keep his role under wraps until the end of the year.
“He said, ‘Don’t tell anybody, because if you tell one person, it won’t feel as bad to tell a second person. If you tell no one, everything will be okay.’ So I’ve told no one, and it’s working out fine,” he told E! News.
When you’re working on something as big as “Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens,” it may be difficult to contain your excitement. The official trailer, which gave viewers a first look of what to expect on the new trilogy, had over 50 million views on YouTube. It’s so popular that, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the trailer is set to become the most-viewed movie trailer of all time.
“Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens” was also hailed as Fandango’s most anticipated film of 2015. “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2” and “Fifty Shades of Grey” ranked second and third respectively.
