E L James To Do Her Own Touch In ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ Film Adaptation?
Even after encountering deadlocks, which delayed the project, the “Fifty Shades Darker” is still expected by a lot of fans to become a huge hit just similar to the turnout of the first film. What if the author herself would become a part of the production for this upcoming movie? What can E.L. James bring for the whole team working behind the camera?
In a report from International Business Times, the Fifty Shades trilogy author shared the office name plate of Michael De Luca included with the caption “#working”on her Instagram account. Michael De Luca is one of the producers for “Fifty Shades of Grey.” He will come back for the next film with another producer, Dana Brunetti.
From this IG post, fans were thrilled to find out that James has started working likewise for the movie. This is a welcome development for the followers because of the alleged delays that happened recently, which are attributed to some changes in the line-up of the production staff.
One of these changes is the new director coming into the scene. James Foley was substituted for the directing job entrusted before to Sam Taylor-Johnson in the previous installment. Rumors have it that Foley was in charge as the new director since there was a tension between author James and Taylor-Johnson.
According to Empire as cited by Celebuzz, Dakota Johnson shared her insight about this change stating that she was afraid at a moment when she was not aware of what it was going to be like, even though she had an an experience with Sam. But, fortunately, all that went away soon, she added.
With E.L. James board now for the filming, anticipation for “Fifty Shades Darker” gets higher. The film is set to premiere on February 10, 2017.
