ED SHEERAN SAVES ANOREXIC TEEN ASHTON WYSS, WHO SAYS, ‘I’D FOUND MY COPING MECHANISM’!
It’s proved! Ed Sheeran is definitely an angel in human from. He proved yet another time that music is biggest blessing on Earth! Ashton Wyss, a British teenager, confirmed that that the ‘I See Fire’ hit maker definitely should get the credit of curing him from Anorexia, while he was suffering from it five years ago. Inspiring is an understatement for this!
Ed Sheeran absolutely amazing and his lyrics and songs either makes us feel extremely loved or feel the desperate longing for our beloved. He may have confirmed the notions that love is the best medicine that money can’t buy.
What is Anorexia actually? In common theory, a person, who possesses incessant hatred about his own body, starts thinking he is overweight and skips his meal in a plea to lose weight or throws up almost everything he eats. He suffers from severe depression, and often self harms for it.
When Ashton was 12 years old, he was suffering from severe depression for not fitting in school. It stretched to that point where he started losing weight at a massive rate, and he was so ill that he underwent therapy for while. But that wasn’t enough and he took refuge in Ed’s music.
According to Perez Hilton, he stated, “When I look back, I was grateful for treatment, but it just didn’t work for me at the time. I needed to get better in my own way. As soon as I played [Sheeran’s] music, I could feel my mood lifting. I learned how to play Ed Sheeran’s songs by watching how he moved his fingers along the instrument in his music videos… [It] became my coping mechanism. It helped me to let my feelings out instead of trapping them inside which makes me feel worse… I began to see myself putting weight back on, and by February 2012, i was nearly back to my normal weight. I felt so much happier in myself, now that I’d found my coping mechanism.”
Ashton Wyss, you have no idea how huge of an inspiration you are to thousands of teenagers out there. And as for Ed, we’d like to say, keep making music like you do, because it will save a lot of troubled life like Ashton’s.
