“Elementary” Season 2 Episode 21 “The Man With the Twisted Lip” Episode Recap:

“Elementary” Season 2 Episode 21 “The Man With the Twisted Lip” (air date: April 24, 2014) follows the one-week delay after “Elementary” Season 2 Episode 20 “No Lack of Void,” which was aired on April 10, 2014.

Global TV reported that Sherlock Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) and Joan Watson will receive a surprise visit from Mycroft (Guest star Rhys Ifans). Mycroft had visited them before. He was last seen trying to get Sherlock back to London. They were not aware of whatever agenda he has on visiting them.

The usual grilling and arguing of the Holmes siblings ensued. Sherlock grilled his brother about his sleeping arrangements with Joan. Mycroft, on the other hand, responded with the “shared custody” banter. Joan was immediately offended about the arguments about her. Then, she warned Sherlock that she might beat him if he doesn’t stop.

Meanwhile, they took a case concerning one of Sherlock’s associate, Paige. It involves the disappearance of Paige’s sister. Their search was fruitful, but it seemed that they were too late. Paige’s sister was found dead along with another corpse in the woods. The other victim found was identified as Zack Pillar. Pillar was an expert in making drones for a aeronautics company.

The events will reveal that the company used the drones to silence several people. Some of the targets were connected with the top-secret project. The specialized drones were used as weapons equipped by poisons.

The two brothers had dinner at a nearby restaurant. Sherlock’s sensitive instincts had alerted him about a mysterious man in the restaurant. Joan arrived at the place and Sherlock told her about it.

Joan Watson has her own meeting with Mycroft. Sherlock doesn’t know about it. Mycroft express the possibility to take their relationship on another level. For the second time, she had seen Sherlock’s mysterious man. She was about to start her own investigation when her detective instincts failed her. Little did she know, the man is actually a criminal. The man was tasked to kidnap Watson.
