Ellie Goulding Sings In ‘Activewear’ Parody Clip To Make Fans Forget Her Lip Sync Scandal

Ellie Goulding recently went to Australia for a performance and she has come back to narrate a horror story. The British singer was supposed to deliver a thrilling performance in the country for AFL grand final this month. But the technician played the pre-recorded song while she was standing unprepared on the stage. Now she is being blamed of lip syncing. Read on.

The 28-year-old Goulding, who has given hit numbers such as “Something In The Way You Move,” “Love Me Like You Do” and “Lights” has been wondering how she would get out of the situation now. The whole incident lead to a sudden pandemonium, and the fans still have lot of questions to ask her and want to believe she is innocent.

Michael Gudinski, a claim promoter and producer, told The Age Entertainment, “Unfortunately a technical issue at the start of Ellie’s performance caused a brief hiccup but Ellie went on to prove just how much of a superstar she is, belting out two of her massive hits. Claims that Ellie lip synced her performance are absolutely untrue.”

Amidst all the turbulence during her stay, Goulding stayed focused and managed to record a nice parody video in Sydney with Skit Box, Australian comedy trio. Skit Box is a comedy group that comprises of all women. It bagged its right to fame after its YouTube video on “Activewear” parody got hit.

According to the outlet, Goulding admires the video a lot. In sequel of the video, the singer will be seen accomplishing day to day superstar tasks while sporting her activewear. She will be heard singing, “”I’m Ellie f*cking Goulding in my activewear.”

Well, Goulding might have feared earlier that her fan following might dwindle due to the incident on the stage but she can take a sigh of relief now. After being part of the sequel of the parody video, something like that would not happen.
