“Captain Fantastic,” a comedy drama film, follows a family of six who live off the grid in the forests of the Pacific Northwest. The father, who has unorthodox parenting methods, taught his six children everything they needed to know to survive out in the wild. However, when the family has to return to society, it proves to be a challenge, as surviving in and with society is a totally different ball game. The father is then forced to reflect and come to some realizations about himself and his parenting methods, as he and his family struggle to assimilate themselves into society.
