EXO Members Heat Up Japan Tour! Group Lives Up ‘Special Idol’ Title!

EXO members are considered one of the most successful boy groups in Seoul as they are not one song in their track that can’t dominate the country’s music chart, they were even lined up to the two boy bands; Bigbang and Super Junior—that influenced the KPop fever all over the world.
According to KPop Starz, the nine member band lived up to their “special idol” title as they proved that even though there are reports that Korean Wave in Japan are starting to slow down, they can still hold a concert and be successful on their tour! They were able to gather thousands of fans in different location in Japan! So cool!
Adding on to the good news, the site noted that no matter what happen, even if Japan has cooled off from KPop, when it comes to the “Growl” singers—“it’s a different story.” The group proved that they deserve the title “special idol” as they set out new records and perform in front of their Japanese fans!
Based on the site’s report, with the group’s second concert “EXO Planet#2 –The Exo’luxion,” the singers started to kicked off their tour last October 31 in Fukuoka until November 1. The first tour was followed by a three-night performances five days after the previous one. The said concert was held at the Tokyo Dome last November 6 to November 8.
Moreover, as their final stop in Japan, the band held another three-night concert on November 13 to 15 at the Osaka Kyocera Dome.
Reports say that EXO was able to gather 300,000 people in the country, proving that they are indeed popular across the nation.
In addition to this, the site reported that during their last act, 135,000 fans watched them perform live!
Furthermore, EXO members were able to break the record of having the biggest concert held by a male boy band! Even local news was caught off guard with their popularity!
“EXO’s generation. Overseas foreign artist breaks record. Korean group EXO gets more popular than Bon Jovi,” local news stated.
As of now, Suho and the other members are asking for the fans’ patience for their upcoming comeback.
