“The Expendables 3” Synopsis:
Barney (Stallone), Christmas (Statham) and the rest of the Expendables come face-to-face with Stonebanks (Gibson) who was back from the grave. Stonebanks co-founded the Expendables with Barney. However, they had a falling out when Stonebanks chose to go dark. When Drummer (Ford) commissioned Barney to kill a target while on a mission, he was surprised to find out that Stonebanks was his mission. He could not believe it at first as he thought the guy was already dead. Caesar (Crews) got badly injured in the encounter. Drummer suggested that Barney look for a younger crew to help him finish his mission. Hence, he “fired” Christmas, Doc (Snipes), Jensen (Lundgren) and Road (Couture). Barney hired Mars (Ortiz), Luna (Rousey), Smilee (Lutz) and Thorn (Powell). Orders changed, and the CIA wanted Stonebanks alive. In another mission, Barney’s new team succeeded in getting Stonebanks. But the man had all the means. They were tracked. Soon, the new team was captured except Barney who fell from a bridge. Barney soon reunited with his old team, along with the chatty Galgo (Banderas) who brought some humor to the film, and went to save the new breed of mercenaries.
