‘The Expendables 4’ Gets Pre-Sale Date In China, Is There Any Chinese Investment For The Sequel?
It has been more than a year since the release of “The Expendables 3” and now the fans are eagerly looking forward to the fourth installment to hit the big screen. Despite the fact that the third sequel had received dissatisfying box office results and mixed reviews, the filmmakers are all set to give the promising effort to mark “The Expendables 4” in the list of most successful Hollywood movies.
Earlier, we all noticed “The Expendables” franchise to release a new movie in every two years but this is for the first time the fourth installment is going to wreck the ship of tradition. The first and original movie was screened in 2010 followed by the second and third sequels in 2012 and 2014 respectively. However, in the case of “The Expendables 4,” it is not possible for the filmmakers to release it in 2016 to maintain consistency as some recent reports claim that the production is going to start early next year.
According to K-Drama Stars, “The Expendables 4” movie has already secured a pre-sale date in China and the Chinese fans are said to be highly excited although everyone’s favorite Jackie Chan has refused to work in the movie. The Chinese investment on the fourth installation is also another reason why the movie will mostly set in China in 2016, Master Herald reports.
On the other hand, the Bollywood fans are somewhat disappointed as their dream to see Salman Khan is not going to be fulfilled as he too rejected the offer of Sylvester Stallone. Khan said that he is not interested in leaving Bollywood as he likes his filmy dialogues to be only delivered in Hindi.
The filming of the fourth installation will reportedly start in 2016 and it will take a year to hit the movie in the global theaters.
