‘The Expendables 4’ star Jason Statham Shares his Thoughts about the Fourth Installment
Ever since Sylvester Stallone announced that he will be making the fourth installment in his action franchise “The Expendables,” there has been a buzz who would be seen next as the main antagonist provided we already have a team of heroes who emerge victorious in every mission. With names of Hulk Hogan and Dwayne Johnson attached for the movie, “The Expendables’” right-hand man Jason Statham has something to say.
According to Ecumenical News, it’s not just fans of the franchise but Jason Statham aka Christmas Lee to who is really excited for the movie.
Some time back he was asked about starring in the fourth franchise and according to him, getting to work with Sylvester Stallone is a beyond amazing moment. Personally, being a fan of him and growing up watching his movies makes him do as many movies as Stallone wants him to do.
Realty Today reports that “The Expendables 4,” which will release in 2017, will begin production early next year since Stallone has everything in order right from the cast to the budget.
The movie’s budget is said to be $100 million and with the franchise having a major following in China, there is a possibility “The Expendables 4” will film right there.
Hogan has confirmed his role as the main antagonist in the movie though he did mention he would need a stunt double to do the running around. With Stallone already having fought Steve Austin in “The Expendables,” it would be interesting to see how the “Rocky” star would perform when he is pitted against another WWE heavyweight.
Given the kind of injuries Stallone has undergone while filming these movies, he would have to make sure he and the rest of cast remain safe and keep their moves in check so as to give fans another action ensemble.
