‘Extant’ Seems Difficult To Renew For Season 3
“Extant” series is struggling hard to survive, as it is speculated that CBS channel might cancel the upcoming season of Halle Berry starer show. With such brilliant cast and creative on board the sci-fi drama did not sufficiently created a buzz among the audience. There has been not a very noteworthy rating for the show the second season recorded approximately 4.3 million viewers which makes a rating of 0.7, as stated by Yibada.
The production and creative team believes that “Extant” can still pull viewers. Though they agreed that ratings are true but that alone is not a parameter to judge a show. The show has powerhouse cast likes Steven Spielberg as executive producer, Berry starred as Molly Woods and Jeffrey Dean Morgan as James Daniel to name a few.
Season 2 has been high on production cost and low with rating which makes the team a bit worried about a go-ahead signal for next season. Steven Spielberg is trying hard to save the grace of the show.
It is speculated that production might work on cost cutting as they believe it is not received very well with the audience. CBS is said to have an open slot for the summers’ which is good news for “Extant”. We might hear an official announcement soon.
