“Falling Skies” Season 4 Episode 2 “The Eye” aired on June 22, 2014. It was directed by Sergio Mimica-Gezzan and written by Carol Barbee. “The Eye” began as the Espheni cut off the food supplies of Tom (Noah Wyle) and the others at the concentration camp. They are determined to catch the masked perpetrator for interrogation. Meanwhile, Weaver (Will Patton) had thought of using Pope’s (Colin Cunningham) hoarded goods to keep everyone satisfied. They successfully beat the crap out of the men who attacked them. Dingaan also got the chance to use a shortwave radio to gain contact with Conchise (Doug Jones), Tom’s alien friend.
Elsewhere, Anna (Moon Bloodgood) and Deni (Megan Danso) may not find the kids’ location, but they had interrogated a wounded skitter about “the hybrid.” It was said that the new species led the pack on teaching human kids about being a part of their plan, which included Matt (Maxim Knight). He was now sent at the youth camp, where he looked for the other resisting kids.
In Chinatown, Dr. Kadar (Robert Sean Leonard) and Ben (Connor Jessup) found out that Lexi’s rapid aging might lead to her death. Ben and Maggie (Sarah Carter) thought that Lourdes wanted to control Lexi for power. Lourdes (Seychelle Gabriel) tried to stop the others on examining Lexi’s blood. A heated argument ensued in both sides, and Lexi used her power to stop them. Later, Ben and the others looked for her when she went missing . She was seen talking to an Overlord about taking her powers away.
Back to Tom, he was given a proposal by the Espheni to help them fight the “new” alien species. The Espheni’s grand plan was about harnessing the kids at the youth concentration camp. It was said that they are the weapon against the new threat. Tom took the advantage and searched for clues to escape from the monitors.
