Vin Diesel is doing rounds to promote his latest release “The Last Witch Hunter,” and it is so obvious that wherever he is going, the question most projected at him is of “Fast and Furious 8.”
Diesel, who plays the role of Dom Toretto, revealed a major spoiler for fans on his promotional wave in “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon,” where he explored the possibility of adaptation of story from a racing car magazine. Diesel has already confirmed that “Fast and Furious 8” will be back to its racing roots and will be shot in New York.
Diesel even explained the maths of title convention, at his latest promotional stint with MTV, “A lot of people are thinking ‘F8,’ I just get lazy and say ‘Fast 8.’ I don’t know if the official title’s come out yet. It’s never the official title. You have to understand. When you talk about titles and you talk about ‘The Fast and the Furious,’ the first movie all through production the back of my chair said ‘Red Line.’ This is like, this is par for the course for the ‘Fast’ franchise. We never know what the title is officially.”
Well, that’s one thing sorted. Vin Diesel also confirmed joining of Helen Mirren to the “Fast 8” movie. Diesel teased that everyone should be in the franchise and they should be behind Helen Mirren. In one of her previous press talks Helen Mirren had expressed her wish to be part of the franchise.
