‘Fast & Furious 7’ Gets New Release Date Following Paul Walker’s Death

It seems that the cast of the Fast & Furious movie series are finally ready to move on from Paul Walker’s tragic death on Nov. 30. Paul’s co-star Vin Diesel posted a message on Facebook announcing a new official release date for “Fast & Furious 7” – April 10, 2015.

Posting a photo of he and Paul, Vin wrote:

The last scene we filmed together…

There was a unique sense of completion, of pride we shared… in the film we were now completing… the magic captured… and, in just how far we’ve come…

Fast and Furious 7 will be released…

April 10th 2015!

P.s. He’d want you to know first…

That’s really an emotional post by Vin, and we can’t think a better way to make that announcement. Fast & Furious 7 was previously scheduled to hit theaters on July 11, 2014.

Paul was set to shoot key scenes before he died in the fatal accident on Nov. 30. And just a few days later, Universal Pictures suspended the production of the movie, with a note that read:

“Right now, all of us at Universal are dedicated to providing support to Paul’s immediate family and our extended Fast & Furious family of cast, crew and filmmakers. At this time we feel it is our responsibility to shut down production on Fast & Furious 7 for a period of time so we can assess all options available to move forward with the franchise.”

But Vin’s announcement of a new release date for Fast & Furious 7 comes as a good news, which will offer fans one last chance to have a glimpse of their beloved actor.
