‘Fast and Furious 8’ Movie Update: Eva Mendes’ Backstory Revealed? Producers Try To Compensate For Paul Walker’s Loss
The upcoming “Fast and Furious 8” movie will be the first ever movie in the “Fast and Furious” franchise in which we won’t be seeing Paul Walker. But other than that, the remaining cast will reprise their individual roles. Among the other actors, it would be Eva Mendes character that will work as a protagonist in the upcoming “Fast and Furious 8.”
The world lost Paul Walker in 2013 and it was his brother Cody Walker who completed the last scenes of the movie on his behalf. With the help of CGI, the face of Cody was transformed into Paul’s. There is no official information that Cody will be seen in “Fast and Furious 8.”
According to the Movie Pilot, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson will recur his role as Luke Hobbs, Jason Statham as Deckard Shaw, Vin Diesel as Dominic Torreto, Tyrese Gibson as Roman Pearce. Not only this, Lucas Black will also return to reprise his role of Sean Boswell.
It was earlier reported by us that Eva Mendes is in terms to return in the film and now according to Yibada, Mendes will also reprise her role as Agent Monica Fuentes and the plot of “Fast and Furious 8” will be connected to her story. Mendes will team up with Michelle Rodriguez and Vin Diesel.
Apart from the casting, “Fast and Furious 8” has no director yet and from a creative perspective, it does seem reasonable that the producers want to settle down for a while on the development assembly line before deciding the director. Besides, the past movie just made a ton of money than any other installment these past fourteen years since the curtain came up on this franchise. We cannot speculate who the director is going to be but we need someone who can give us some over the top thrills to add to how awesome “Fast and Furious 7” was.
“Fast and Furious 8” is scheduled to release on Apr. 14, 2017.
