“One sick love story” is rolling in cinemas soon (no pun intended), as “The Fault in Our Stars,” hits the big screen on June 6, 2014. Directed by Josh Boone, it is based on Josh Green’s bestselling novel with the same name. Read on for a brief synopsis of “The Fault in Our Stars.”
“The Fault in Our Stars” Film Synopsis:
Hazel (Shailene Woodley) and Augustus Waters (Ansel Elgort) , two teenagers who are battling terminal diseases. Although in the first part, Augustus has is on remission. Gus (Augustus) is a breath of fresh air for Hazel who has been carrying an oxygen tank with her all the time to help with her breathing and who resented going to the Cancer Kid Support Group as she finds it even more depressing.
Yet things changed when Augustus Waters came to one Cancer Kid Support Group meeting and immediately, their personalities and wits have glued them together since that day.
Augustus and Hazel Grace will show you how love can make miracles that will make you hope more and have faith more in it.
A tear-jerker is on your way, this is definitely expected especially for those who have read the book.
Filming for “The Fault in Our Stars” already started in August 26, 2013 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and finished on October 10, 2013. They filmed in Amsterdam and John Green was on set for filming and he created video blogs as well to keep track of the journey seeing his creation being brought to life on a big screen.
