‘Fear the Walking Dead’ Releases New Promo [WATCH VIDEO]

AMC has just released a new 30-second promo for “Fear the Walking Dead” titled “Nick’s Escape.” Read below for the full details:

According to Us Weekly, the new promo shows Frank Dillane as Nick as he run for his life. He had just escaped by climbing a window, pausing to put his pants up. He runs through the streets with a look of his panic in his face and looking back occasionally for a zombie in his proximity.

“Fear the Walking Dead” is before the zombie apocalypse. It means it’s before “The Walking Dead” when the virus is quickly spreading in Los Angeles. Earlier this month, Robert Kirkman, executive producer of the show let us in on some details about the upcoming series.

“Everything happens in ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ is the same universe as ‘The Walking Dead.’ So any rule that we find out and anything they see in the early days is definitely something that was happening in the past of the other show. These two shows are very intertwined in the same world, even if their characters aren’t necessarily going to interact because of geographical distances. So yeah, anything that you learn from ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ will apply to the mythology of ‘The Walking Dead’ and vice versa. So you are going to get to see that the characters learn that they’re all infected in a much different way.” Kirkman said.

Dillane’s Nick is a parent’s worst nightmare and his younger sister Alicia played by Alycia Debnam-Carey is his total opposite.

Just like “The Walking Dead” “Fear the Walking Dead” will center on survival instead of curing the virus. It was unlike in “The Walking Dead” where the characters focus on survival and global cure.
