Take a note of this, fellows. Sandra Bullock, the stunning beautiful actress may step in the shoes of George Clooney, dawn a tuxedo and try out some mind games at a casino table. Yes, you heard it right.
According to the latest news update from eonline.com, the star of Ms Congeniality, Sandra Bullock is being signed in to play the lead role in an all-female version of “Ocean’s Eleven”. Casinos will now be robbed by an all-women gang of thieves.
Gary Ross, director of The Hunger Games, will team up with Clooney and the Academy Award winner Sandra Bullock, to come out with a remake of the wonderful and interesting movie. This time, the plan is to have an all-female team for the movie who will plan and make their moves to trick in casinos.
Since the original version of the movie, which was made in 1960 and starred Frank Sinatra, numerous remakes have been made till now. The latest version for the 21-century was made in 2001 with the movie “Ocean’s Eleven” with big names like Matt Damon, Brad Pitt, George Clooney and more.
According to mirror.co.uk, the sequels for the movie were more and more complicated. However, it is been eight years since the last movie hit the big screen, so it is high time now to start things and flip the switch. The idea to make an all-female version of “Ocean’s Eleven” was initiated last year when producer Steven Soderbergh, Jerry Weintraub, screen writer Olivia Milch and Clooney sat down to make a storyline for it.
Unfortunately, the crew lost Weintraub in July which put the plan for the movie on the back burner, albeit only for a short duration. Sandra Bullock will be in limelight in case she does go ahead to work in the movie.
