‘Fifty Shades Darker’ News: Kendall Jenner or Lucy Hale To Play Leila Williams?
‘Fifty Shades Darker‘ is set to release in February 2017 but many of the characters are yet to be casted. The sequel remains very much the debated movie of the season even before its production started. One of such thing is the star cast as in the whole ‘Who Plays Whom” thing which is always the centre of talk when a movie is made based on a bestselling novel.
With majority of the star cast already in place from the first part, it would be wise to leave it intact. However, some major additions of characters are in line to debut in the sequel. One such character is of Leila Williams who is about to debut in “Fifty Shades Darker.” Leila Williams is the former submissive partner of Christian Grey, being said that we know the type of personality it requires. According to Inquisitr Lucy Hale and Kendall Jenner completes the suggested shortlist. Lucy Hale has gained her reputation from “Pretty Little Liars” while Kendall Jenner got her popularity as a model.
Jenner, apparently, was the first choice for Sam Taylor-Johnson to play the role of Leila Williams due to her notorious modeling and her work in “Keeping up with the Kardashians.” But with Johnson leaving and according to Variety James Foley taking over, coupled with lack of acting experience could however end Jenner’s dream for featuring in the sequel.
Meanwhile, to the exact opposite of Kendall Jenner, Lucy Hale has the requisite CV of acting but not necessarily of the body. However, Hale recently demonstrated her erotic side in the Paper Magazine’s photo shoot which included some BDSM moves. It was a totally different Hale on screen which was a surprise to many including Hale herself, as she admitted she was embarrassed and uncomfortable by the shoot. It is difficult to predict as of now who will be picked as fans around the world are eagerly awaiting the official announcement from the production houses. So who do you think will be best suited for the role?
