“Are you ready for something darker?” reads the recently released teaser trailer for the upcoming sequel, “Fifty Shades Darker.” As the “Fifty Shades of Grey” sequel takes on a darker turn, will the movie unveil more uncut sex scenes between Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson? Read on to learn more about this scoop.

“Fifty Shades Darker,” the sequel to E.L. James’ “Fifty Shades of Grey” book series, is bound to hit the theatres in 2017. While the sequel’s release date sounds a lot like too long of a wait for most fans, a short teaser trailer was released in early April, which showed a darker Christian Grey while donning a black mask.

“Fifty Shades Darker” will dig deeper into Christian’s psyche and what led him to become the way that he is with Anastasia. In “Fifty Shades of Grey,” Christian was still hesitant to let Ana in on his life. He was still keeping several details about him like what led to the scars on his body and why he specifically chooses brunettes as his submissive.

All these questions will be answered in the sequel, “Fifty Shades Darker.” The story is bound to take on a “thriller” turn thanks to the introduction of Christian’s former submissive, Leila Williams, his former dominatrix who introduced him to the world of BDSM, Elena Lincoln aka Mrs. Robinson, and Ana’s editor, Jack Hyde.

While some fans may shrill at the idea of “Fifty Shades of Grey” taking on a “thriller” turn, the sequel will stick pick up on the true nature of E.L. James’ book series. According to VC Post, “Fifty Shades Darker” may feature more uncut sex scenes between Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan.

Dornan, who plays Christian Grey in the movie, has been reportedly offered $1.5 million to go full frontal in the ‘FSOG’ sequel. ET reported that the 33-year-old previously refused to bare it all in the first installment to the franchise because he felt embarrassed to do so.

“As a guy you put all your essentials in a little bag and you tie it up like a little bag of grapes and it’s tucked away. It’s a peculiar thing to do every day,” Dornan remarked.

“Fifty Shades Darker” hits theatres on Feb. 9, 2017.
