First Impression on The CW’s The Flash [Watch Video]
A lot of people are eagerly anticipating “The Flash” TV show, and we are too! Even if “The Flash” will premiere on Oct. 7, 2014, we are here to help make the long wait bearable. Read on to learn more about the first impression on “The Flash.”
“The Flash” stars Grant Gustin (Glee) who plays the role of Barry Allen/The Flash. Other cast members include Jesse L. Martin (“Law & Order”) who plays the role of Detective West, Rick Cosnett (“The Vampire Diaries“) as Eddie Thawne, Candice Patton (“The Game,” as Iris West) Carlos Valdes (“Broadway’s Once”) as Cisco Ramon, Danielle Panabaker (“Necessary Roughness”) as Caitlin Snow and Tom Cavanagh (“Ed”) as Harrison Wells.
The story of “The Flash” follows the “Arrow” episode, “Three Ghosts,” where a lightning bolt hit Barry Allen, and it picks up when he wakes up from his coma. In this story, we will dive deeper into the world of Barry Allen, and this is where his father figure, Detective West, will be introduced with his daughter, Iris, whom Barry has a huge crush on. The very handsome cop, Eddie Thawne, and Harrison Wells, a S.T.A.R. Labs genius will be introduced as well.
DC Comics Geof Johns, chief creative officer, promised to deliver a “fresh and exciting… cinematic” approach to the show.
The success of “The Flash” depends on its competition, and it seems like its biggest competition this fall would be “The Voice.” However, these are two different shows, and we feel like that The CW can definitely succeed in their upcoming DC Comics show. The fact that a lot of people are anticipating the airing of the show, it only means one thing: they have high expectations for it, and the network will surely not let their viewers down.
