First ‘Kingsman: The Secret Service’ Clip Introduces the ‘Weapons Cache’ [WATCH VIDEO]

Watch the first official clip to Matthew Vaughn’s upcoming spy thriller “Kingsman: The Secret Service” titled “Weapons Cache.” In the new clip, Harry “Galahad” Hart (Colin Firth) introduces the weapon cache to his apprentice Eggsy (Taron Egerton) containing high-tech equipment a spy would need including a bullet-proof umbrella, a pistol that can fire a shotgun shells and a special pair of shoes which offers a surprise when you tap them like a German Aristocrat’s formal greeting.

“Kingsman: The Secret Service” is an action spy thriller based on the comic book by Mark Millar. It depicts a veteran secret agent who leads a young protégé into the world of espionage. The live-action adaptation stars Colin Firth as Harry Hart, codename “Galahad”; Samuel L. Jackson as Richmond Valentine; Mark Strong as Merlin; Taron Egerton as Gary Unwin/Eggsy; Mark Hamill as Professor James Arnold; Jack Davenport as Lancelot; and Michael Caine as Chester King, codename “Arthur.”

“Kingsman: The Secret Service” follows the adventures of Eggsy, an unrefined but promising street kid who is recruited in a super-secret spy organization’s ultra-competitive training program as a global threat emerges. The film borrows only the basic concept of the comic’s storyline but sets up a very different layout along with different characters. Uncle Jack is replaced by Harry Hart, Gary is no longer related to the veteran super-spy and MI6 no longer serves as the organization the protagonists work for. However, it rather sees an independent international intelligence agency operating at the highest level of discretion called “Kingsman.”

“Kingsman: The Secret Service” is directed by “X-Men: First Class” helmer Matthew Vaughn, written by Jane Goldman and Vaughn himself. “Kingsman: The Secret Service” is set for a theatrical release on Feb. 13, 2014.
