In what seemed like a new-age promise of adaptations and collaborations, Disney has recently made an animation inspired by Marvel’s “Big Hero 6.” Read on for further details about this story.

Disney recently released the first trailer for their animation adaptation of Marvel’s “Big Hero 6.” The story takes place into the future, in the metropolis called San Fransokyo. It revolves around a young robotics engineer named Hiro Hamada and his interactive invention, Bymax, a balloonlike robot. After witnessing a criminal onslaught only to get taken for granted by law enforcers, the duo embark on a quest that led them to create an uncertain  group of crime-busting individuals. These include their friends: adrenaline junkie Go Go Tamage, clean freak Wasabi No-Ginger, chemistry whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred. Later on, their purpose was dignified enough that these people actually got recruited by the government to protect the metro’s interest, thus defending their high-tech city from a massive criminal threat named Yokai. He is the silent but lethal type of villain who instigates the destructive movement.

Looking at the name of the city alone, you could clearly identify the combination of the most iconic cities in the world: San Francisco and Tokyo. Disney has certainly got its bearings back on the superhero trend once more as it’s obvious that this film embraces the theme superfluously. The transition is impressive, with their production moving on from the fantasy of the box office hit “Frozen” to the fusion of the sci-fi heroic genre of “Big Hero 6.”

Based on the trailer, viewers could sense the elements of heartfelt emotions and friendly humors, which people have come to adore in all Disney-animated films.

“Big Hero 6” features the voice talent of the young Nickelodeon star Ryan Potter as the main protagonist, Hiro Hamada, and “30 Rock” actor Scott Adsit as his robotic buddy, Bymax. Jamie Chung, Damon Wayans Jnr, Génesis Rodriguez and T.J. Miller with the other superhero squad Maya Rudolph, James Cromwell, Alan Tudyk and Daniel Henney are also sharing their vocal talents.

The animated film is directed by Don Hall (“Winnie the Pooh”) and Chris Williams (“Bolt”). According to Independent, this will be the first Disney film that features Marvel characters ever since The Walt Disney Company assumed ownership of the Marvel Entertainment in 2009. It is set to hit the silver screen on November 7, 2014.

That’s the latest buzz on Disney’s upcoming animation, “Big Hero 6.” Continue to check on Movie News Guide (MNG) for more movie updates.
