‘The Flash’ Season 2 Episode 1 Recap: More Heartache, Powerful Enemy, And Few Character Returns

“The Flash” season 2 premiere was full of heartache from the beginning to the end. Read on to know what happened in The CW’s television series. Read on.

The first episode titled “The Man Who Saved Central City” of the season 2 of CW’s “The Flash” aired on Oct. 6, 2015. According to E! News, viewers would have watched the heartbreaking episode while Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) tried to come to terms with the terrible events of the season one finale that took away the lives of many people in Central City. The season 2 first episode mourns for the fall of ultra-heroic Eddie (Rick Cosnett), and noble Ronnie (Robbie Amell).

Todd Helbing, the co-writer of next week’s episode “Flash of Two Worlds,” revealed that there is the possibility for the return of Ronnie. He also added that Ronnie’s absence would be felt particularly by Martin Stein (Victor Garber), in the forthcoming episodes.

The new addition in “The Flash” is Teddy Sears, who portrays as Jay Garrick. The source further added that the new hero of the town warns the gang of the evil villain with his eyes. Spoilers of the CW series suggested that we would come to know more about the hero next week.

What else could viewers expect in the CW’s TV series? Well, Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell) are coming back to “mess things up.” The return of Cold and Wave could be good as they both add fun to the episodes. While, at the same time, their comeback is somewhat bad, especially for Barry Allen, as they could mess things up in the Central City.

Digital Spy reported that the powerful enemy Speedster Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears) threatens the life of Barry Allen, the Central City’s mayor.
