According to the promotional video and the press release on the episode’s synopsis on Spoiler TV, this case marks the immortal Dr. Henry Morgan’s (Ioan Gruffudd) first case after killing a man in his private laboratory, as he had thought that that man was his anonymous caller. This also marks the first case he will work on after learning the true identity of his anonymous caller, who calls himself “Adam” and who revealed that he had the same affliction as Henry. This causes both Detective Jo Martinez (Alana de la Garza) and Lieutenant Reece (Lorraine Toussaint) to closely watch over him.
This episode will bring both Henry and Jo into the wolf’s den, as they investigate the murder of a young financial investment phenomenon. They end up plunging into the ferocious world of high stress, big money and power. However, this becomes more personal for Abraham (Judd Hirsch) as the victim is the son of one of his military friends from his time in the army during the Vietnam War. The case also becomes deadly for Henry as the promotional clip shows Henry about to be run over by a car at a parking lot.
Meanwhile, flashbacks will show Henry and how he reacted to a teenaged Abraham’s departure for Vietnam after joining the army.
This episode will also guest star William Baldwin as Oliver Clarion, a high-powered financial boss.
