Former EXO Member Luhan Turns ‘Star Wars’ Ambassador For China
EXO has caught the “Star Wars” fever, as it is spreading like wild fire and making the hearts of millions of fans around the globe beat faster. Now, a former member of the K-pop band has become a promotional ambassador for the movie.
According to Kpop Starz, “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”, which is soon to be released is being promoted with a minute-length commercial from the former member of EXO boy band, Luhan. In the commercial, Luhan is being seen as changing into a Jedi and appears along with other characters of “Star Wars”. The commercial also flashes pictures of China across the screen.
The pop sensation has been made the official ambassador for the seventh episode of the Star Wars franchise and is promoting the movie in China. EXO boy band are the official South Korea ambassador for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”. They have also come out with music videos in Chinese and Korean language, which serves as promotional track for the movie.
Luhan Studio, which is the personal agency of the singer Luhan, uploaded the commercial on Wednesday to YouTube. It was revealed last week that Luhan will give himself some rest from the hectic life as a singer and will give time to his health. It is very important for the singer to take care of his health, as he is having a very busy year ahead.
According to SBS, in 2014, a contract nullification lawsuit was filed by Luhan against his former agency SM Entertainment. According to the lawsuit, the company showed mistreatment toward him and other members of Chinese nationality who were in the group. Luhan is the second member who has left the group.
SM Entertainment then filed a countersuit, stating that Luhan breached the contract and the case is still going on in the court.
