Former EXO Member Z.Tao Launches New Solo ‘Reluctantly’ Amidst SM Entertainment’s Lawsuit
Amidst the lawsuit filed by SM Entertainment against him on the charges of breaking the terms and conditions of his contract with the company by non-approved individual promotions, former EXO member Tao aka Z.Tao has come up with his new solo song titled, “Reluctantly.”
After leaving the group, Z.Tao is focused on pursuing his career as an actor cum solo-singer in China, and successfully doing so. With the release of this new song, he proved that how much seriously he is taking his career as an individual. The new song “Reluctantly” is composed by Z.Tao himself together with Andros Rodriguez. The song is full of emotions and depict affection with lyrics and rap touch.
Since July 2015, Tao has released around eight songs as a solo singer, putting “Reluctantly” at ninth. Z. Tao was part of the second highest grosser movie of China titled “You Are My Sunshine” and part of the upcoming film named “Railroad Tigers.” Until now, the star has been seen in many Variety shows like “Splash!,” “Exo’s Showtime,” “Laws of the Jungle” etc. He was also part of the television dramas, “That Love Comes,” and “EXO Next Door.”
The talented singer released his first EP named T.A.O in July and Z.TAO, the second EP in August. It is surprising that he is the one among the three member (Wu Yi Fan (Kris) and Luhan) who left EXO before completing their contacts with SM Entertainment and right now working towards establishing themselves as solo artists. All of them have filed lawsuit against the company and currently fighting for the same, side by side grooming themselves as soloist singers and actors.
Well, no matter what happened in the past, one thing is clear that Z.Tao is really working hard and going to rock the audience as a soloist by his songs and also by his acting. So, let us wish him all the very best for his future endeavors.
