‘Friends’ Controversies That Changed The Show; Was Phoebe Hallucinating?
“Friends” is the evergreen TV series depicting what friendship and love is but there had been many controversies and revelation about the cast and from “Friends” that has changed the way viewers see Rachel, Ross, Joey, Pheobe, Monica, and Chandler.
The epic characters of six best friends at their favourite bar-turned-coffee house, Central Perk, were played by Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Matt le Blanc, Lisa Kudrow, Mathew Perry, and Courteney Cox. Here we take a look at all “Friends” related stories from 2015:
Phoebe Was Hallucinating Entire “Friends”: So what, it really never happened? “Friends” fans have gone beyond limit and brought this dark theory that Pheobe Buffay was actually meth-addled and used to stare at five friends from across the street, sipping coffee at Central Perk and made the entire “Friends” up.
Phoebe and Joey To End Together?: Every “Friends” fan can swear by this that they somewhere thought Phoebe Buffay and Joey Tribbiani would end up together by the end of “Friends.” Well, that didn’t happen but truly the duo would have made the most crazy and innocent couple. In an interview with People Magazine, Matt le Blanc and Lisa Kudrow said they actually wanted Joey and Phoebe to end up together.
Le Blanc said, “Towards the end we actually pitched the idea that Joey and Phoebe had been having casual sex the entire time. We’d go back and shoot all the historical scenes and just before a moment that everyone recognizes, there’s Joey and Phoebe coming out of a broom closet together. But they were like, ‘Nah.’”
No “Friends” Reunion Because of Ross: We all are allowed to be a little bit angry. Fans have crowded “Friends” set and social media platforms requesting for a “Friends” reunion but bursting our dream bubble, Courteney Cox revealed to Yahoo! News via Mail Online that it is not going to happen. She has asked fans to actually get over the entire idea of a reunion ever happening!
Cox further revealed, “We’ve gotten about 80 percent there, but there’s always one person who flakes at the end. I’m not going to name names, but it may not be [David] Schwimmer.”
