‘Frozen 2’ Plot Rumors: Sequel Features New Villain? Movie To Be LGBT-Friendly
Disney’s one of the most successful films in its company history is “Frozen,” which was released on November 27, 2013. The wonderful success of the first film could be a strong support for contemplating for another sequel titled “Frozen 2” that is so far slated to hit the screen in Nov. 21, 2018. It means the fans will once again see their favorite characters including Anna, Queen Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf.
Although a small pinch of information is so far whispered to the media, it is reportedly said that the film could possibly set the characters against a new fire-wielding villain. Rumors are in the air that the upcoming sequel will introduce a villain who would have extreme powers not only to control fire, but also to throw an open challenge to Elsa’s ice-based powers.
“We enjoyed making ‘Frozen Fever’ so much and being back in that world with those characters. Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck have come up with a great idea for a sequel and you will be hearing a lot more about it and we are taking you back to Arendelle. We are so excited about that,” John Lasseter, Walt Disney Chief Creator Officer, Walt Disney Animation Studios and DisneyToon Studios said to Variety.
At the end of first film, Queen Elsa remained single while Anna was shown ended up with Kristoff. There is a rumor that Elsa would be characterized as a lesbian in “Frozen 2” and the movie will be made LGBT-friendly. However, it is very early to say what is going to happen, as there is no confirmation regarding this, neither any of the cast members has spoken on it.
Disney could plan to release the movie on the same date Nov. 21 to replicate the first film’s success. The huge amount earned from the first film helped the company to reinvigorate Walt Disney Studios.
