Three weeks after hackers posted hundreds of photos of nude celebrities, another installment of stolen intimate pictures of high-profile celebrities surfaced online over the weekend. Stars afflicted by this latest violation by websites 4chan and Reddit include actresses Gabrielle Union and Meagan Good. Both confirmed that their photos were authentic and stolen.
Other celebrities who saw photos leaked were Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, Kate Bosworth and Jennifer Lawrence, among others. In a statement, Union and her husband, basketball player Dwayne Wade, confirmed the authenticity of the explicit pictures, saying that these were photos of their personal moments as husband and wife. Photos of these women were uploaded onto websites 4chan and Reddit before they were instantly removed.
“It has come to our attention that our private moments, that were shared and deleted solely between my husband and myself, have been leaked by some vultures. I can’t help but to be reminded that since the dawn of time women and children, specifically women of color, have been victimized, and the power over their own bodies taken from them,” said Union and her husband NBA star Dwyane Wade in a statement obtained by TMZ.
