‘Game of Thrones:’ Creators Confirms Season 5 Deaths and Harrington Wants to be A Warg [Watch Video]
“Game of Thrones” Season 5 left us with many cliffhangers to ponder on until the next season. This is not new at all and the creators took the time to actually answer some of the cliffhangers regarding the deaths that transpired.
I don’t know if there are Stannis fans out there after he let his daughter burn at the stake but anyway, I am sorry because he’s REALLY dead. Nutter said, “It would have been gratuitious. You really got a sense that Stannis had nothing else to love fore. Brienne’s lifelong mission had come to an end. it’s a situation in which Stannis was ready to die and prepared to die.”
It is so ironic that Brienne’s lifelong mission of killing the killer of Renly had to be at the same time that Sansa escaped. Speaking of Sansa, who ran away with Theon, don’t worry because we will be seeing them next season and both are still alive. According to Nutter, “it’s safe to assume they survived that jump.”
That heart-to-heart talk that Jaime and Myrcella had hit home and gave fans the feels but of course, another irony struck and Mrycella had to die in his father’s arms! David Benioff and D.B. Weiss confirmed her death and also suggested that Cersei won’t be leading the war against Dorne, “In her mind, Myrcella was taken away from her by Tyrion; she still blames him for Joffrey’s death, and he is directly responsible for Myrcella going to Dorne. So in her worldview, both of her children’s deaths are to be laid at his doorstep. This is one more thing to motivate her homicidal hatred of him,” Benioff said.
As for Trystane, Jaime’s not going to kill him while they are in transit to King’s Landing because he has other plans and he knows that Cersei is the best person to handle this. And Nikolac Coster-Waldau suggested that Cersei could enact revenge on Trystane instead.
Oh and Meryn Trant is SO dead.
Who did we leave behind? Jon Snow… well, yes because his fate is still unknown but I have a treat for you. Kit Harrington during the Oxford Union said that he would want to be turned into a warg. So, maybe that’s what he’s going to be next season, if ever he’s still alive? Watch it below:
