‘Game of Thrones’ Season 5 Finale is Setting a New Record

A new record is coming for “Game of Thrones” Season 5. The HBO fantasy series is about to surpass a new viewers record. Read on for more details.

According to Movie Fone, “Game of Thrones” Season 5 gained a whooping 8.11 views recently and HBO has just released a new update with details from its channels including “HBO linear, HBO On Demand, DVD, and HBO GO/NOW.”


“Viewing of ‘Game of Thrones’ season 5 is set to surpass 20 million viewers (currently 19.8 million), eclipsing season 4’s record breaking performance of 19.1 million viewers and cementing its status as HBO’s most watched series ever.” the statement said.

The final episode of “Game of Thrones” has become the most illegally downloaded episode of any show ever as well.

Seven Hells, this came as no surprise to us “Game of Thrones” fans for the epic fifth season. Although it started off a bit slow it quickly progressed with tortures and shocking deaths that kept us hooked. Overall, “GOT” Season 5 deserves these million viewers. In fact, we are still hungover and fans keep on speculating about what’s going to happen on Season 6 especially regarding Jon Snow.

The good news is, “Game of Thrones” will be at Comic-Con this July 10, 2015 and also on “Conan” so we are guessing that they are going to drop some interesting details about the upcoming season of the show.
