There had been many major spoilers for “Game of Thrones” Season 6 and the fact that this would be the first season to not be based on the books of “Game of Thrones” adaptation- makes it more likely for odd things to happen.

According to Inquisitr, also returning is Tyrion’s lady love Shae. Sibel Kikelli who plays the role of Shae is rumored to return for her lion, Tyrion Lannister. She was seen on the sets of “Game of Thrones” but many believe that it was for a flashback scene only, since Tyrion had made sure he kills Shae.

Watchers On The Wall also reported not so shocking return of Tobias Menzies who played the character of Caitlyn Stark’s younger brother Edmure Tully. Reports have that Lady Stark’s brother was seen shooting at Riverrun. He was last seen in red-wedding of Robb Stark.

There had been strong speculations that since no one saw Brienne killing Stannis Baratheon, chances are that he is alive. But according to the new book of the series, Stannis Baratheon is deader than dead by Brienne.

According to Vanity Fair, HBO has officially confirmed that upcoming book “Game of Thrones: The Noble House of Westeros Seasons 1-5” writes, “Stannis was killed outside of Winterfell by Brienne of Tarth, who wished to avenge Renly’s death.”

David Nutter says, “It would have been gratuitous. You really got a sense that Stannis had nothing else to live for. Brienne’s lifelong mission had come to an end. It’s a situation in which Stannis was ready to die and prepared to die.”

Since, “Game of Thrones” Season 6 is not really based on book series, chances are also there that Stannis may live for the TV Series.
