As TV series are more than enough to bring a fresh face into the movie industry, “Game of Thrones” actress Sophie Turner stars in a horror flick entitled “Another Me.” Read on to learn more about this scoop.

Like most actresses who have  paid their most earnest respects to the TV series that gave them their star, Sophie Turner, who plays the iconic role of Sansa Stark in the popular TV show “Game of Thrones,” is starring as the main protagonist to the psychological thriller “Another Me.”

One would think that this budding new actress has had enough shares of torments in her acting roles, but it is certainly unexpected that the next person to bring her through a series of anxieties would be herself. According to The Wrap, the upcoming horror movie revolves around the creepy premise of unexplained reflections. The story tells of a girl named Fay who adores the art of photography and practices it. Everything went smooth and ordinary for the teenage girl when she spots another version of herself in one of the pictures she took. Alarmed with the unexplainable presence of an entity that looked like her, she goes through the journey of torment but eagerly hoping to find an explanation behind the mystery. She then finds out that the unknown entity is certainly out to take her life for itself.

In the trailer alone, one is  able to sense the sudden rush of torment that her character experiences the moment she saw another version of herself in the mirror. Then it gets even more mysterious when a voice over of her father explains what seems to be going on, ending with “I can’t protect you for much longer.”

The movie is written and directed by Isabel Coixet, who is, according to DNA, known to be a successful international Spanish filmmaker with her films “Elegy” and “The Secret Life of Words.” Sophie Turner is starring alongside Gregg Sulkin, Rhys Ifans, Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Claire Forlani.

The film is certainly wrapped with so much mystery. Is it a supernatural entity? Does she have an evil twin? Is she schizophrenic? Such questions can only be answered by watching the movie that is set to hit the theaters on Aug. 22, 2014.
