‘Game of Thrones’ Author George R. R. Martin Confident Of Finishing TV Series Before The Books

It hardly happens that any movie or television series do the justice with the book but with “Game of Thrones,” things are entirely different. The show is equally thrilling and some points, it exceeds the book but at the same time, the first three seasons hardly followed the novel, “A Song of Ice and Fire.” However, everyone knew that Martin has not completed the next book in the series and this has grown concern within the fandom regarding the upcoming story line. Fans from all over the world are concerned whether or not Martin will able to finish the remaining novel in time.
Martin is writing “The Winds of Winter” from the past many years. In a recent convention at Sasquan, Washington, the author finally gave the world a glimpse of the first chapter of the much-awaited book. After the reading, Martin sat down to answers few questions regarding “The Winds of Winter” and the TV series based on the book.
According to GeekWire, when someone asked Martin about his views on the show’s potential ending before the books, he simply said, “Anything is possible.”
Afterwards, Martin explained that to write a script from a novel is not that tough, but to create a whole new world out of nothing really takes a lot of time.
As far as we know, the show is moving forward beyond the novels. It may mean that those fans that watch “Game of Thrones” will get to know how the series will get concluded before the fans who are going to read “A Song of Ice and Fire.” All we hope that the concluding seasons and novels will offer an exciting story.
