In the latest episode of “Game of Thrones” Season 5, Episode 2 “The House of Black and White” we finally saw Arya Stark whom we have been waiting for ever since Season 4 wrapped up. Aside from that, we were also given the chance to finally see Oberyn’s home – Dorne, where Myrcella is who seems to be in danger. Read below for the full recap.
First of all, we begin with Jon Snow who was offered by Stannis Baratheon the lordship of Winterfell in return for his loyalty in the coming wars. However, it looks like Jon wants to remain a bastard and chose the vows that he made at the Wall instead. When he returned, the Night’s Watch showed their appreciation for what Jon did and they hailed him the 998th Lord Commander.
However, Stannis still has problems winning the Northern houses despite him saving the Night’s Watch, which he later on confided to Jon.
Meanwhile, in Dorne, Oberyn’s brother Prince Doran and his lover Ellaria Sand have a grudge against the Lannisters after what Tywin did to Doran’s sister, Elia and her children and their grudge has only intensified due to recent events, which means that this is bad news for Myrcella who is their guest. Prince Doran told them not to hurt the child for vengeance but it looks like Ellaria has other plans. Cersei knows her daughter is in danger and Jaime offered to do something about it.
Things in Meereen are getting worse especially when Mossador begged for her mercy but she gave him the justice she thinks he deserves, which then turned the people of Meereen against her.
Arya is at the House of Black and White, the Braavosi temple and she has been reunited with Jaqen H’ghar and her list of enemies is getting shorter. Brienne and Pod ran into Sansa but Sansa denied their help.
