‘How To Get Away With Murder’ Season 2 Spoilers: Show Creator Interviewed

“How to get away with murder” series creator, Pete Nowalk was recently interviewed where he gave out spoilers for the upcoming episodes of the show in Season 2.

The Hollywood Reporter interviewed Pete Nowalk about the second season of “How to get away with murder” and he revealed that the next few episodes will see Annalise grappling with the issues of keeping dirty secrets and dealing with some really bad things that happened as a consequence due to the murder of Rebecca.

When questioned about the direction the new season is going to take, Pete Nowalk flatly told THR that the structure of the show is not going to change anytime soon. The show is going to put its characters in a heart-wrenching existential angst and zoom in on their emotions. The show, apparently, is going to steer clear of the beaten path of harping on the mystery by revealing Rebecca’s killer in the very first episode. It will instead focus on the state of mind of Annalise Keating after the dramatic murder.

When asked about the overall theme for the show, Nowalk told the press that it was what has Annalise wrought? “I don’t approach writing so much from theme but if there was, it would be: What has Annalise wrought? How does she live with herself doing all the bad things she does? That is something that every character is dealing with thematically: We did this terrible thing, why don’t we just turn ourselves in? Why do we want to keep going? It’s an existential crisis,” he told the press candidly.

He also told the press that the season will see the students doing their second semester in criminal law. He also revealed that the new season will introduce new characters in the show, but he wasn’t too keen in revealing their details.
