Get Ready To See Gerard Butler As Ruthless Headhunter In ‘The Headhunter’s Calling’

The “300” series star Gerard Butler has reportedly signed the family drama of debut director Mark Williams, “The Headhunter’s Calling.” Read for more information.

Yes, Butler who is famous for action packed movies, this time will be seen playing the role of a ruthless headhunter named Dane Jensen who has plans to take over the company named Blackrock Recruiting for which he is working. The movie will show how the priorities of an ambitious star recruiter of engineers’ changes due to the illness of his 10-year-old son, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.


The principle photography for the human resources drama will start from Oct. 26 which is currently in pre-production stage. It was also reported that Voltage Pictures who currently has the international rights of the movie, will sell it to the foreign buyers at the Toronto Film Festival.

As far as the writing and production part is concerned, “The Judge” and “The Accountant” fame Bill Dubuque is behind writing the script for “The Headhunter’s Calling” and production part will be seen by Williams, Butler and Alan Siegel, whereas Dan Bekerman of Scythia Films, and Dubuque and Danielle Robinson are the executive producers.

The Scottish actor’s upcoming movie is “London Has Fallen” with a release date of January 22, 2016, a sequel to his 2013 released film “Olympus Has Fallen,” in which he was seen as an agent working for the US Secret Service. The other projects include “Geostorm” by Dean Devlin and “Gods of Egypt” by Alex Proyas.

The actor, who has given his voice for Stoick of “How To Train Your Dragon” films, seems very busy now a days as he is stuffed with work but no doubt as his looks goes, his demand will definitely going to increase. Well, the best thing for the fans of Butler is that many of his films are coming. So, wait for the release of his films and till then wish him good luck.
