Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay Rumored Affair: ‘Food Network’ Chef Pays Ex-Husband Todd Thompson to Fuel Down Speculations?
Not everyone ends up with a happy ending despite being together for years as a married couple. Giada De Laurentiis and Todd Thompson called it quits after being married for 11 years last Dec. 2014. What follows next is a series of negotiations until they finally came to different agreements especially since they didn’t have a pre-nup in the first place. It was De Laurentiis who filed for divorce.
According to TMZ, which was able to get a copy of their divorce judgment, the monetary and asset value specified are very costly indeed. They will split their bank account worth $2,000,000. The fashion designer will have their house located in Pacific Palisade, which costs a whooping $3,200,000. De Laurentiis also needs to pay him $9,000 for monthly child support.
The publication added that De Laurentiis and Thompson will have joint custody of their only daughter, 7-year-old Jade. The “Food Network” chef, who has authored cookbooks, must give half of the unpaid advances to her estranged husband. Here is the summary of the amount that will be taken from published yet unreleased cookbooks: $2,300,000 from “Giada Feel Good Food”, $757,000 from “Giada’s Kitchen and Everyday Pasta”, and $2,500,000 from “Weeknights with Giada and Giada at Home.”

Both of them have more than a million net worth. Thompson is reported to be at $15 M while De Laurentiis is at $20 M so several people wondered why she agreed to such a high price? It was allegedly the payment for Thompson’s silence on the speculated infidelity of his former wife.
As what Yibada posted, Bobby Flay and Giada De Laurentiis were allegedly seen having a good time and being intimate over dinner. Then, it wasn’t long after that cozy dinner that the cooking expert and fashion guru made her divorce from Thompson made known to the public. It seemed like she wanted to be with her new lover as soon as possible.
A convenient and legal way—this was how Giada De Laurentiis and Todd Thompson put an end to their married life.
