Girls’ Generation Holds Fourth Solo Concert ‘Girls’ Generation: Phantasia – 4th Tour In Seoul’
Girls’ Generation (SNSD), the South Korean girl group, has held their fourth concert titled “Girls’ Generation: Phantasia – 4th Tour in Seoul” at Seoul Olympic Park Stadium, on November 21-22. Read on for more details.
According to KpopStarz, Girls’ Generation member Tiffany posted a photo of the girl group’s members donned in different black stage outfits and different-colored hairstyles, giving different poses, on November 19. The photo revealed the Girls’ Generation members’ practice time for their 4th solo concert.
SNSD held the fourth concert of the group on November 21 to November 22. The tickets for the “Girls’ Generation: Phantasia – 4th Tour In Seoul” were sold on October 22.
Based on a previous report from the source, this is the first time that the South Korean girl group has “held their own concert and with eight members.” The SNSD presently include 8 members – Taeyeon, Seohyun, Hyoyeon, Sooyoung, Tiffany, Yoona, Yuri, and Sunny. Jessica was a former member of the group.
Popular choreographer Rino Nakasone planned the Girls’ Generation concert. Nakasone has worked with singers such as Britney Spears, Chris Brown, Janet Jackson, and Avril Lavigne, earlier. The 36-year-old choreographer has also worked with SNSD’s previous songs like “I Got a Boy” and “Genie.”
The SNSD saw an incredible success in 2015. The music group’s fifth album “Lion Heart” made a big hit, “topping all charts including music video, song, and album.” Indeed, the group has given the two-night concert “Girls’ Generation: Phantasia – 4th Tour In Seoul” as a means to celebrate the year’s success.
The Girls’ Generation members are definitely not a stranger in facing concert stages. In fact, they have made a record among girl groups by attracting “50,000 fans at the legendary Tokyo Dome” and recording more than “55,000 in attendees in Japan.”
