Girls’ Generation Leader Taeyeon Underwent Cheekbone Surgery? First Solo Concert Dates Announced
It looks like Kpop group Girls’ Generation (SNSD) is coming back with a bang – and it’s not just because of their newly released hit singles, “Lion Heart” and “You Think.” SNSD leader Taeyeon is currently rumored to having undergone surgery, as netizens debate on the changes in her cheekbone. Girls’ Generation leader Taeyeon is currently under fire for allegedly going under the knife and having surgery for her cheekbones. According to Koreaboo, netizens noticed that Taeyeon’s cheekbones were previously prominent on her face, but the SNSD leader’s comeback photos on stage showed softer features.
The outlet shared several before and after photos of Taeyeon, which gave fans the chance to see for themselves whether or not the SNSD leader went under the knife during the kpop girl group’s hiatus. However, several fans noted that this change in Taeyeon’s features may have something to do with her weight.
Well, this is not the first time Taeyeon has been the subject of debates and controversies. As previously reported here on Movie News Guide, SoShi fans expressed concern over the SNSD leader’s figure.
“Babe, please eat more. I’m so worried about u,” a fan wrote on one of Taeyeon’s photos, which flaunted her toned abs.
Meanwhile, Taeyeon is scheduled to perform her first-ever solo concert in Seoul on Oct. 23, 2015, Christianity Daily reported. According to the outlet, Taeyeon’s concert will be called “Taeyeon’s Very Special Day” and tickets for the said concert will be on sale starting on Sept. 23.
Taeyeon is also scheduled to release her first solo album this fall of 2015. Taeyeon’s co-members, Tiffany and Seohyun from SNSD’s subgroup, TaeTiSeo, are also scheduled to release their solo albums at the same time. Girls’ Generation – TTS will be releasing a new album in December.
