Glastonbury 2015: The Highlights of The Festival and 5 Ridiculous Moments of Kanye West

Glastonbury 2015 saw a lot of surprising highlights and reactions from the crowd. The festival has finished for another year and left behind few of the headlines that are going to stay with the crowd for a long time. The festival in all of its live performances had something or the other coming up as a surprise. The Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama took the stage and crowd gathered in spite the rain, sang “Happy Birthday” for him.

If you had thought Lionel Richie is all just washed up musician now then you need to think twice. The Glastonbury 2015 crowd loved him and got mesmerized when the 69-year-old musician took the stage and sang his mega hits like “Dancing On The Ceiling,” “All Night Long” and “We Are The World.” The performance by Lionel Richie helped gather the biggest crowd for the festival of 2015, which is more than 100,000 people.

Now, the special mention, Kanye West, sure did hit the headlines but the ridiculous moments of him performing at Glastonbury 2015 took a troll at him only. The internet flooded with the incidents and we couldn’t resist but sort them out here:

  1. You are now watching the greatest living rock star on the planet.” – Like, seriously? He said it atleast three times!
  2. The Stage Invader – Lee Nelson!
  3. The Electronic Voice – It was noise, definitely!
  4. The moment when Kanye West left the stage to mount a cherry picker! – Okay, we’ll wait!
  5. Bohemian Rhapsody – Lyrics, anyone?

“The Who” marked their second and last tour performance at Glastonbury 2015 festival. Roger Daltry and Pete Townshend of “The Who” couldn’t resist but took a dig at Kenye West. Roger Daltry yelled to the crowd, “We’re going to make a big f**king rebellion; yeah who’s the biggest rockstar in the world?” and Pete Townshed amazed the crowd with impressive guitar solo, right after.
