South Korean blockbuster film Train To Busan star Gong Yoo is set to make his appearance on the small screen in an upcoming K-drama Goblin. It features Gong Yoo as Kim Shin-a goblin and a protector of souls.


Along with Gong Yoo, My Girl fame Lee Dong Wook also joins the cast of Goblin. He plays the role of an amnesiac grim reaper. His character is in charge of taking deceased souls.


The official synopsis of Goblin reveals that it is a story that surrounds Kim Shin. He is a goblin and soul protector. He along with Lee Dong Wook’s character is in charge to take dead people off into the afterlife. Lee Dong Wook plays the role of an amnesiac grim reaper.

Meanwhile, actress Kim Go Eun plays the role of Ji Eun Tak, a high school student. She is a very optimistic girl despite her painful real life. The major twist in the story takes place when Ji Eun Tak ends up falling in love with the Goblin.

Cast Members and Their Roles

Korean drama Goblin consists of popular star cast such as Gong Yoo. Moreover, Lee Dong Wook and Kim Go Eun joins the lead of the Goblin.

Apart from them, actress Yoo In Na plays the role of a chicken shop owner. She is bright and attractive and is believed to be loved by all men. In addition, young actor Yook Sung-Jae plays Kim Shin’s nephew in Goblin. He is a rebellious chaebol heir and his family has been looking after the goblin for generations.

Moreover, the latest photos of Lee Dong Wook and Yoo In Na, in this new K-Drama reveals how the characters first met on the bridge, as per the website.

Goblin premieres on Dec. 2 on tvN network.
