Graham Norton Will Retire Soon While His On Top Of His Career

It is not new to the entertainment industry to have celebrities who retire in the early stage of their career, but Graham Norton? The chat show king? Retiring soon? Well, that’s new.

Retiring while he’s “on top” of his career and being afraid to “inch backward”  were Graham Norton’s reasons of revealing his retirement plan, making him one of the most searched topic in different social media sites and entertainment news blogs.

The 52-year-old chat show king revealed on a report that he is planning to retire and leave the BBC within 8 years just before he hits his 60s.

He even joked about not wanting to “inch backward” by inviting the cast of TOWIE on his show.

“The thing no one wants is the inching backwards, where you’re kind of going: ‘Yes the cast of TOWIE can come on…’ That’s about retiring when you’re on top,” he told Mirror.

The “Graham Norton Show” host, who is well-known for being perfectionist on his work, also revealed that he is not in a relationship right now. He said that he preferred to live alone for the rest of his life rather than live with towels that were folded incorrectly just like what happened when he was with his American ex-boyfriend Kristian Seeber, who he split with in 2006.

Graham also claimed that one of the reasons why he is still single is due to being too fussy. His his fussiness, however, didn’t stop his dating life with music marketing consultant Andrew Smith up until now.

He added that he is now careful when it comes to his love life.

“Why do you want to be heartbroken again? If you keep being heartbroken you’re a moron.”

On the other hand, though Graham said that this is his 18th year of doing a chat show and they’ve been working up to this moment of being on BBC1 on that prime Friday night slot and always been inching forward over those 18 years, he will still be gone from our screens well before he become a 60-year-old man.

However, for a man in his 50’s and planning to retire soon, Graham is still and one of the best talk show host of a late night show that make people enjoy their life infront of a TV having popcorns while laughing with his humorous jokes and interesting way of chatting.

Now, if this guy here will retire soon…what will be his plans for the future aside from finding new love?
