Grimm: A Refresher Before Season 4 Premieres on October 24, 2014
NBC’s “Grimm” Season 4 premieres on Friday, Oct. 24, 2014, is about to come, and we summarized Seasons 1 to 3, just a refresher to prepare you for the upcoming season. Read on to learn more. The story of “Grimm” centered on Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli). He is a homicide investigator and a Grimm. On the first episode, he found out he has descended from a line of guardians called Grimms because of her aunt, who has cancer and died soon. From Season 1 to Season 3, he was battling against dangerous creatures, alongside his Wesen friend Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell), and his partner Detective Hank Griffin (Russell Hornsby).
On the first season, Monroe did not like Nick as he was accused a Wesen who kills young girls who wear red outfit. Later on, Monroe did not notice he’s becoming a helping hand of Nick whenever he needs info about the weaknesses of other Wesens. While Detective Hank Griffin had no idea about the world of darkness and Grimm. He only figured about Wesen and Grimm when he accidentally saw Monroe transformed into Wieder Blutbad. At first, he thought he was going crazy as he also saw another transformed creature. Nick revealed about Wesen and Grimms in order to make things clear to Hank, and convince him he’s not crazy.
The last episode of third season, Nick lost his power or suspected not a Grimm anymore as Adalind Schade (Claire Coffee), a Hexenbiest who used to work for Capt. Renard, (Nick’s superior investigator and a male Hexenbiest), performed a spell to him. Using her witchcraft knowledge and powers, she pretended to be Nick’s girlfriend Juliette Silverton (Bitsie Tulloch), and they made love.
Added character on the last episode was Theresa “Trubel” Rubel (Jacqueline Toboni). Nick and Hank met this girl during their investigation. They found out that she is also a Grimm like Nick. Trubel’s character is rebel and impulsive young girl. On the last episode, she found out that Nick lost his power and supposedly gave a potion to cure Nick during the wedding of Monroe and his Fuchsbau girlfriend Rosalee Calvert (Bree Turner).
Another cliffhanger on the last episode, Capt. Renard was shot by an FBI agent. Upcoming season, viewers will find out if Renard survives, will Nick bring back his powers and become a Grimm again, and what’s next after Sergeant Drew Wu (Reggie Lee) found out the secrets of Nick.
TV Line reported Toni Trucks will appear in season 4. She will play the role of lawwoman, Deputy Janelle Farris. She will request help from Nick and Hank for a highway-crime scene.
Another characater to expect is Erick Avari (he stars on the movies: Warehouse 13, The Mentalist). On this TV series, he will play the role of salvage-yard owner. His business will catch the attention of Nick as it may realted to highway disappearances.
