‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Animated Series:’ Gamora’s Origin Revealed In Latest Clips
She is the deadliest assassin who redeemed herself as a hero when she became a part of the “Guardians of the Galaxy.” Thanos’ adopted daughter who the mad titan trusts so much has always had this deep mystery within her and the same mystery would soon reveal itself as the new “Guardians of the Galaxy Animated Series.” Read on to know about the character’s origin.
According to Comicbook.com, the origin of Gamora starts with she accompanying Korath and Nebula on a mission where Ronan the Accuser instructs them that they have to find their target and seek information from them. The maniac also mentions that whichever assassin manages to complete the mission shall get to be his second in command.
Both Gamora and Nebula being extremely competitive start on a stronger note, however, when Gamora for a couple of seconds gets a lead over Nebula, the latter throws her into the ice cold waters where a robotic guard, who the assassins had fought earlier, pulls Gamora deep into the water with it.
Having being drowned deep inside, she somehow manages to discover a little opening that leads her straight into the temple where she confronts her target who happens to be a wizard. The wizard in turn helps Gamora by reminding her of who she was and how it was actually Thanos who controlled and manipulated her memory. Perhaps this incident will eventually lead to her in going against the mad titan and joining her future mates as a Guardian.
Bleeding Cool reported that Gamora’s origin story comes after having seen Star-Lord, Rocket Raccoon, Groot and Drax’s origin story. It is being said that Marvel only released the second part however some fan broke down the first part into multiple parts and posted it online. “Guardians of the Galaxy Animated Series” will release on September 26th on Disney XD with the first episode’s sneak peek airing on September 5, 2015.
